The position is located in Magnolia, Arkansas, working on the Magnolia E&I Maintenance Team. Instrument Excellence Responsibilities: Instrument system improvement projectsP&ID development/revisions, Control strategy, Estimating, Schedule coordinationLiaison with vendors, contractor engineers and maintenanceInstrument specification and selection (level, pressure, temperature, flow, PSV & PSD, etc)Construction Package Design, including location plans, termination drawings, installation details, scope definition, I/O lists, Instrument lists.In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCADElectrical Design Responsibilities: Utility analysis, scope development, estimating.Liaison with vendors, contractor engineers and maintenanceElectrical specification and selection (Lighting, MCC, Capacitor, VFD, etc.)Electrical design, startup, and troubleshooting (Lighting, MCC, Danfoss and Allen Bradley VFD, Motor controls, Area classification analysis)Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, etc.Project Construction & Start-up Responsibilities: Act as liaison with the site's construction coordinator, assisting with installation problems.Loop checking, equipment set-up, program downloading, megger testing, loop tuning, troubleshooting and assisting with start-up.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent people skills - Customer focused.Ability to successfully work with all plant personnelProject Management Responsibilities: Scope development, project estimation, project paper development, cost control and reportingProcurement: project scheduling, change order review/control/ executionDeveloping and writing applicable specifications.Experience with SAP Project Module and other basic SAP transactions very desirable.Essential Qualifications:Candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.3 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer providing E&I design and support.Magnolia site employees should be aware of both the Albemarle Magnolia Site Quality Policy and the Albemarle Magnolia Site Quality Objectives plus understand how their role contributes to each.
