We are currently seeking a part-time, unpaid intern to work in our Wellness department.
Position Summary:
The Health & Wellness Intern will support the AllOne Health Wellness team by helping to develop and facilitate content, resources and wellness activities that enhance the client experience in the West Michigan area. This individual will observe fitness and virtual webinar events to grow their wellness knowledge and exposure, participate in periodic on-site events, and balance hands-on with behind the scenes development and communications.
What You'll Do:
- Observe and participate in onsite activities at local West Michigan based companies.
- Observe and assist in facilitation of virtual activities, including webinars and employee engagement events for companies hosted across the U.S.
- Contribute to new wellness content, in the form of video content, recipes, wellness challenges, and motivational tips to keep employees engaged.
- Assist with wellness webinar content, talking points and handouts.
- Attend weekly team meetings virtually and observe the sales and roll-out of wellness for clients across our family of subsidiaries.
- A student in the junior or senior year of college at a participating University
- Majors and fields of study to be considered (but not limited to) include public health, community wellness, health and wellness, exercise physiology, biology, public health, human resources, psychology and related majors.
- The intern should possess strong written and verbal skills, be able to work independently and within a team structure, and have excellent time management skills.
- The internship may be a mix of remote and office work, therefore, the intern must possess a form of transportation and the ability to work both inside and outside an office environment.
- The unpaid intern may be eligible for college credits. Time commitment will be no less than 10 hours per week for the course of the term, planned according to the college course requirements.
- The intern will report directly to a team member on the Wellness Team, to be designated at the time of the assignment.
- The intern must be highly passionate about wellness, behavior change and people.
- Some travel may be required
