RemX is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a company in the Duluth, GA area

**This role has the possibility of extension beyond 2024

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Process high volume and complex payrolls in accordance with the production schedule and in compliance with established SOX procedures - (Payroll accuracy should be 99.5% or higher)
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Must be able to calculate or use the retro tool and follow the process
  • All mass retros must include the criteria used to calculate the retro in the final approval to the location
  • Complete your daily checklist and have peer review
  • All weekly CI loads, must be accurate when submitting
  • Able to interpret and execute in accordance with Union Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Assist payroll supervisors with gathering information required for internal and external audits
  • Responsible for completing your time to PS recons
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field
  • CPP or FPC designation is highly preferred
  • 1-3 years of full cycle payroll administration work experience in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Knowledge of payroll practices
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with all employee levels across multiple business units and functional areas
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio (vlookup & pivot)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to Detail
