RBC Bearings is a well-known international manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered precision plain, roller and ball bearings. We have been providing bearing solutions to our customers since 1919. Over the past ten years, under the leadership of our current management team, RBC Bearings has significantly broadened our end markets, products, customer base and geographic reach. We currently have 31 facilities, of which 28 are manufacturing facilities in five countries. Our selling efforts are supported by a global network of sales engineers, distributors and authorized agents.

Position Objective:

To maintain the highest level of customer service through personal contact with a predetermined list of customers. A CSR must have excellent communication skills to interact with their customers, our Field Sales Representatives and Product Management. They must have the ability to fulfill a customers needs with respect to quotations, order entry, and order statuses.

Principal Responsibilities

To quote customers in a timely accurate manner to optimize new orders.

Orders to be reviewed for accuracy via our contract review process.

Maintain and reconcile customer orders which will help to avoid returns.

Keep abreast of past due orders and advise customers of the situation.

Must be aware of our Quality Objectives and Policies.

Must have, or learn, a certain level of product knowledge to help support customers.

Must be able to access and manage customer web sites.

8. Responsible to understand the company gross margin policies and maximize them.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Helpful to have general knowledge of how customer service works within a manufacturing environment.

General computer skills

AS400 computer skills a plus

Must be detail oriented and follow issues through to completion

Must have excellent communication ability

Ability to keep customers satisfied while maintaining company guidelines.

Job Requirements

The candidate should have at least 0-3 years of experience in the customer service field and it would be helpful if it was in a manufacturing environment, and have at least a High School degree. Higher education would be a plus.
