Our client is an establish commercial construction general contractor in Durham looking to grow their team in the Triangle Responsibilities -Primary responsibility is to supervise commercial interior renovation project(s) in the Triangle area -Minimum 1-5 years experience as a commercial construction project superintendent -Position will require occasional after hour work due to the disruptions and shut downs that are inherent in commercial interiors -Minor travel up to 75 miles from home office located in Durham, NC -Read, understand, and interpret contract drawings and specifications to insure necessary compliance. Identify, submit, and track RFI’s as needed. -Project completion in accordance with the project schedule to include procurement of materials from vendors, scheduling delivery of said materials, and coordination of subcontractors -Quality assurance to company standards -Daily paperwork to include time sheets for payroll, daily reports, RFIs, and email correspondence with key contacts (Owners, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, Vendors). Track all time and material work orders. Track subcontractor time as applicable for any subcontractor’s working by the hour. -Experienced with NC State Building Code 2018 and ANSI A117 -Apply for building permits. Initial staging and mobilization of sites. Schedule all building and trade inspections. Meet all inspectors on site during inspections. Obtain Certificate of Compliance/Occupancy to deliver to Owner. -Committed to insuring cleanliness both during work activities and on each day’s end.
