We are looking for ambitious and detail-oriented individuals to perform faced paced warehouse cargo work, under supervision. They need to be flexible to work different shifts and days.

The Import Export Agent is responsible for:

  • Processes export and import inquiries as per client requirements and procedures such as
  • processing of discrepancies at acceptance
  • preparation and finalization of outbound flights/trucks
  • handling of import documentation (delivery, transfer, and abandoned shipment)
  • Processes all Air Waybills and HAWBs and ensures accurate data capture as per client’s requirements and procedures
  • Handles Special Cargo
  • Initiates invoicing, accepts cash payments
  • Performs Service Recovery activities (i.e. tracing, warehouse checks, offloads
  • Performs Airmail Handling
  • Fully supports the quality standards
  • Works according to documented CHM and GOM procedures
  • Observes and apply the security requirements of the client and local authorities
  • Contacts customers, and inform them of any/all irregularities

Job essential functions:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access invoices, office machinery, etc.
  • The position requires constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a computer, calculator, copier, and printer.

Work Environment:

  • Office Setting- Working with others
  • Occasionally work in extremely bright or dim lighting conditions.

Requirements:

  • Education: GED/High School desired Experience

Shift hours:

Operation- 24/7

Must be flexible with schedule
