Position Overview:

The Director of Corporate Philanthropy at Kendra Scott will play an instrumental role in various aspects of our philanthropic program efforts and managing strategy and execution. Reporting into the Senior Vice President of Philanthropy, the Director of Corporate Philanthropy is responsible for bringing the strategy to life for philanthropic giving, partnerships and volunteerism opportunities that aligns with Kendra Scott's philanthropic vision. This will include developing policies and procedures, implementing philanthropic programs and related employee engagement activities, and benchmarking work to support continual improvement over time as the vision evolves. In addition, they will be responsible for the "back office" management of our corporate giving efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategy and support brand related philanthropy requests
    • Co-Labs
    • Brand moments
    • Key philanthropic and cultural moments
  • Own ongoing corporate philanthropy relationships/strategy with current and new corporate partners
  • Identify Kendra Scott Foundation opportunities to market across brand channels and work cross functionally with brand Marketing and social teams to story tell
  • Serve as main point of contact for KS, LLC. as it relates to KSF questions
  • Manage grants management system to support Regional Marketing and Grant submissions
  • Manage Shop for Good strategy with MPA, Finance and Legal
  • Responsible for monthly accruals and reporting to KSF Director
  • Support KSF team when applicable - events, donor management, program development, etc.
  • Oversee and manage KS, LLC. volunteer programs and opportunities
  • Work in partnership with Foundation Director to manage corporate Philanthropy budget
  • Responsible for management of co-commercial venture contracts
  • Support brand related Philanthropy events
  • Support Senior Vice President of Philanthropy on special projects when needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in the non-profit, philanthropy, fundraising, social impact and/or corporate social responsibility space with established donor relationships
  • Expert partnership builder with key philanthropic relationships
  • Experience working with high-profile celebrities, philanthropists, consumer brands and products a plus
  • Experience writing grant, corporate/brand, and philanthropic partnership proposals
  • Experience developing and managing fundraising events that garner exposure and impact
  • Experience managing multiple projects, including management of staff and outside contractors
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (presentation, facilitation, and written)
  • Capacity to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced organization as both a solo producer and eager collaborator
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to synthesize and summarize complex information clearly and concisely using data
  • Passion for making a positive impact for our people and in our communities
  • The ability to work cross functionally while managing simultaneous projects with schedule constraints
