As the VP of Accounting and Finance, you will oversee all day-to-day accounting, FP&A, and strategic planning. This is a very influential, executive role and requires hands-on collaboration with all departments and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong wholesale, B2B product background with oversight on Recurring Revenue, business contracts and pricing, financial risk management, and cash flow management. If you've been at a start-up, and have helped build and lead lean teams, Please Apply Responsibilities: Drive performance management tied to key metrics/KPIs/business drivers that provide a forward-looking view into trends requiring management decisions and actions Improve the quality, timeliness, and reliability of financial analysis and key performance metrics available to executive management and the Board, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation in all functional areas Oversee the enterprise-level budget process and the consolidation of brand-level budgets into a consolidated financial plan Automate processes and systems to achieve efficiency gains and quality improvements on a sequential basis Support capital raising by anticipating due diligence requests, gathering, and synthesizing data from brand and platform groups, and presenting data in an articulate manner that supports the company narrative Develop long-term plans and strategies to position the company for a successful IPO Work cross-functionally to enhance the financial and business acumen of all leaders Become a trusted partner to achieve targets, provide financial insight, and support operational and strategic decisions Lead quarterly/annual strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to improve overall company performance Establish and maintain robust internal controls to manage the company’s credit risk and ensure compliance with laws and regulations Oversee audits and work closely with external auditors Requirements: Degree in Accounting or Finance Preferably Big 4 / CPA background Strong operational acumen, team building, and leadership experience Progressive background in a wholesale, B2B product environment 9+ years of relevant financial experience, including direct experience at a growth stage startup with diverse, heavily matrixed, and multinational customers Background in developing procedures and policies for customer underwriting and risk management Capital markets experience managing credit facilities and multiple debt partners Deep experience managing financial planning and analysis initiatives Excellent negotiation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated proficiency in developing data rooms and closing fundraising rounds Experience leading lending initiatives within an organization and helped build financial operations from the ground up Background building and forming new team structures
