Job Summary
This centralized position works across the hospital system and is responsible for developing and working in Research Financials within the Deaconess Research Institute. The Analyst will work to ensure linkage between research financials, billing, HIM, revenue cycle and other areas are fully integrated and functional in the hospital system. Additional responsibilities include creating and negotiating research project budgets, negotiating with external sponsors, and other duties as assigned. This position has the potential to be hybrid depending on circumstances.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in any area. Preference given to Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Nursing, Health Information Management.
• 2-3 years’ experience with contract and budget creation and negotiation preferred.
• Experience with Coverage Analysis preferred.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; contract management systems, human resource systems, internet software, spreadsheet software and word processing software, video conferencing software.
