Serving three primary markets - passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment - Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Contribute to insights report development and writing by analyzing data from teardown, manufacturing process, and laboratory analysis.
Support costing team in cost assessment activities
Prepare and present contents during workshops and meeting with customers.
Contribute to product improvement including design for manufacturing activities.
Adapt production process to new technologies or innovations
Share knowledge and train people within the company
Support customer program launch activity as required.
Travel as necessary to support operations globally.
Global expertise which can be called upon by everyone as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
10+ years of experience in manufacturing process development and capital equipment procurement for electric motors.
In-depth knowledge of motor manufacturing technology and process development.
Must understand statistics, as it relates to manufacturing and assembly processes.
Low and high-volume production experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong project management skills.
Strong initiative and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Must be able to travel for extended periods both domestically and internationally.
Willingness to work extended or irregular hours to ensure that key job responsibilities are accomplished.
