The Accounting Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounting Department by assisting with various tasks and projects. This role offers a valuable opportunity for hands-on experience in a professional accounting environment, allowing the intern to gain practical knowledge and develop technical skills. The intern will work closely with accounting and finance professionals and gain exposure to different aspects of accounting operations in a manufacturing business.

What You'll Do

  • Learn the accounts receivable and accounts payable process
  • Validation of our customers and vendor lists to our new ERP system
  • Internal reporting for orders, backlog, and manufacturing index
  • Inventory reporting and analysis on slow moving inventory
  • Streamline Marmon Renew master pricing file
Who You Are
  • Current enrollment in a relevant degree program including Accounting, Finance, Business or similar or a recent graduate.
  • Strong interest in accounting and a willingness to learn new technologies/skills.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer service mindset.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.


Duration

This internship position is a 10-week program, starting May 2025. The exact duration can be discussed during the interview process and is flexible according to the needs of the business and the intern.

Location

The internship will be based at Monmouth, Illinois.

Pay Range for Role

Rising Sophomore - $20 per hour

Rising Junior - $22 per hour

Rising Senior - $24 per hour
