Our Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service at the front desk of Maumee Bay Lodge during the PM Shift (2pm - 10pm or 3pm - 11pm) to include weekends and holidays. The role involves checking guests in and out, answering phone calls and inquiries, and assisting with any guest requests or concerns.

Starting Rate of pay is $12.00/hour.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests timely and in a friendly manner
  • Check-in / Check-out guests including processing payments and providing accurate receipts
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
  • Maintain knowledge of the hotel's facilities, services, and local attractions to provide helpful information to guests
  • Upsell amenities to in-house guests and provide directions to attractions
  • Make guest room reservations
  • Assist guests with requests or concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Requirements:
  • 18 or older preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred
  • Proficient in using computer systems and hotel management software
  • Previous experience working in a fast pace with telephones
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to carry on a conversation with a guest
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Must be available PM shifts including Weekends & Holidays
