Job Overview

Koala Insulation of Southern Connecticut is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Coordinator to oversee daily operations and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training
  • Select, interview, and onboard new team members to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance employee performance and job satisfaction.
Daily Operations Management
  • Plan and organize daily activities related to service delivery and operations management.
  • Analyze productivity data, financial reports, and activity logs to measure team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all company vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and operated safely.
Operations Planning and Budgeting
  • Determine labor and scheduling needs to meet service and operational goals.
  • Manage budgets and forecasts for the operations unit, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
  • Purchase materials, manage inventory, and optimize warehouse efficiency and safety.
Customer Service and Quality Assurance
  • Perform high-quality insulation removal and installation as needed, inspecting jobs upon completion to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Enforce the Koala Insulation operations manual and policies, maintaining a culture of excellence and compliance.
  • Monitor and improve customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety standards across the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent managerial, leadership, and supervisory skills, with a strong focus on employee development and retention.
  • Ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with experience using a CRM preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
