Assists in the development and implementation of public health focused specialized programs utilizing established health intervention strategies meeting specified and measurable objectives.2. Receives exposure, orientation and training concerning clinical functions and established programs and participates in on-going staff development activities.3. Provides skilled nursing care and prescribed treatment to selected clients in the clinical setting at the Jefferson County Health Center and in the community.4. Assists in providing instructions to individuals and groups on health-related subjects including immunizations, family planning, nutrition, wellness, etc.5. Utilizes nursing processes (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide program specific and/or population-based services.6. Investigates and assesses medical needs of at-risk individuals in the community.7.
