Job Title: Dream Center Program Coordinator

Department: Dream Center

Reports To: Dream Center Program Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

Under the guidance of the Dream Center Program Supervisor, the Dream Center Program Coordinator will motivate, lead and inspire children and volunteers with clarity, dignity and respect while being responsible for the daily operations of the DC, special events, projects, and facilitation of existing and new programs.

Specific Duties:
•Assist in compiling data for reports as necessary
•Must be present at all times when volunteers are on-site
•Responsible for planning and operations of nightly pillar activities including; STEAM, Life Skills, Literacy and College Access Programing
•Responsible for daily maintenance of Point System Program data
•Compile daily tracking and data reports
•Maintain names and update store balances as per Daily Point System Program
•Assist Dream Center Program Supervisor in confidence with any situation that may arise involving children, guests, volunteers or otherwise
•Perform other duties assigned by Dream Center Program Supervisor.
•Participate in and serve as a model for SVdP's Culture of Philanthropy, and ensure SVdP volunteers feel welcomed and appreciated * * Volunteer engagement and appreciation, as well as Culture of Philanthropy participation are part of all job descriptions at SVdP, and a very important part of the organizational culture and values

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
•Clerical, computer, and administrative aptitude are beneficial for this position
•Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) preferred, but not required
•Enthusiasm in working with children, and being a role model to all
•2+ years' experience working with children ages 4+

Education and Experience:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•Experience working with/managing volunteers of varied ages and backgrounds
•Well-versed in Google Chromebooks, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and general office equipment
•Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills
•Experience with programming and community outreach

Physical Requirements:
•Abilities to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours a day), lift up to 50 pounds, sit, bend, and reach are required for this position
•Ability to use a computer screen, keyboard, and mouse required as well
