COMPANY INFO:

Our client is located in the Boston area and are looking to bring in an experienced Sales Account Manager for residential construction projects. They are a unique company with both commercial and residential construction projects but there is a great deal of company growth on the residential side. Their work on the residential side involves design and interior construction or renovation.

The company has a showroom of very high end construction materials used in their projects (marble, granite, quartz, exotic stones) used in projects. Most growth is on the residential side & on average, projects run about $2M each (i.e. a bathroom at $800k and so on). They offer a competitive base and commission package based on experience plus benefits.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Greeting and educating customers, ascertaining their needs, and providing world class customer service Calculate square footage and other requirements, assist with selection of materials and preparing estimates Manage pricing and contract negotiation Coordinating with internal staff and outside contractors to accommodate project target dates Communicate effectively with team members and managers to guarantee results Take initiative to successfully complete task at hand Timely and organized responsiveness to multiple requests for information and updates Guarantee customer satisfaction Attend job sites for meetings, inspections, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS: Prior Sales Account Management experience in construction materials including Marble & Granite College Degree or Professional Trade Related Training Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with bids and submission of estimates, contract review and administration Excellent problem solving, time management and ability to think outside the box Ability to read and comprehend construction/shop drawings/bid packages Experience working with Architects, Designers and General Contractors Ability to visit construction and building job sites. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must be able to work Saturday mornings Qualified candidates send a Microsoft Word version of your resume to Marlys at mcave@mri-boston.com
