Position – Account Manager (Sr. Account Manager or Sales Manager) – Insulpox
Company - ChemCo Systems – Subsidiary of American Polymers
Reporting to – Vice President - Commercial
Location – Remote
Job summary:
(Sr.) Account Manager – Insulpox will be responsible for developing and maintaining new accounts for ChemCo’s Insulpox product line. Insulpox is a high-performance epoxy overlay for cryogenic secondary containment that offers significant performance advantages over conventional and competitive cryogenic insulation coatings. These sales are technical in nature with relatively longer sales cycle times of 1-2 years. Prior experience working with state and federal agencies, general contractors, architects, structural consultants to get the products specified in a construction project is a must.
Responsibilities:
Sales development and account management
A fast learner to become familiar with ChemCo products, applications, material specifications, testing, and operations
Lead sales projects in a cross-functional team environment ensuring that the work is completed properly and safely
Work closely with technical team
Field application training/demonstration of ChemCo products with support of Technical Service team
Independently or collaboratively assist with customer complaint verification, cause identification, and corrective action implementation

Detailed-oriented, well-organized, possess an attention to detail

Basic computer skills to include Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Work closely with team members and other technicians to achieve a common goal
Education:
Undergraduate Degree, BS/MS in Materials Science or Engineering a plus
Experience:
Minimum 5 years experience in sales of construction chemicals
Travel:
25 - 50%
Language:
English required
