This role involves developing new training initiatives, maintaining existing programs, and delivering impactful training experiences. This Specialist role will focus on onboarding new advisor staff, managing training systems, and supporting the continuous learning culture at Advisors Excel.

What you'll do:

  • Lead onboarding and new hire training for advisor's staff, ensuring a smooth transition for approximately 50-100 new advisor staff each month
  • Present training sessions alongside other experts, such as AE Operations Trainers, through both online content and Zoom presentations
  • Maintain and develop content for the AE University learning management system (LMS) and Daily Business Resources (DBR) for Advisors and their staff
  • Maintain accurate records of training provided, including project management and outcome tracking
  • Oversee the Staff University LMS, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of the organization
  • Support the maintenance and enhancement of the AEHQ internal website, promoting engagement and usability
  • Cultivate strong relationships with various departments to align and promote L&D initiatives across the organization
  • Collaborate with the recruiting and onboarding team to facilitate New Hire Orientation and Rockstar Academy for AE employees
  • Partner with the Director and department trainers to identify new opportunities for personal and professional development
  • Research and brainstorm innovative training programs that align with organizational goals
  • Support the L&D Director on special projects as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the L&D Team
Experience you'll bring:
  • Proven experience in presenting and training others, with effective use of visual aids
  • Strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple training classes and initiatives at various stages simultaneously
  • Proficiency in systems and computer-based tasks, with experience managing LMS platforms
  • Familiarity with software tools such as Excel, Canva, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and instructional design principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver training confidently and professionally
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and unite teams
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to pivot quickly with a positive attitude when projects or plans change
  • Ambitious, motivated, and creative, with a curiosity to learn and a willingness to take calculated risks in training design
