Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Back-end Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python, experience with Agile methodologies, and familiarity with React, AWS, and PostgreSQL. This role involves developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end, and collaborating with front-end developers. Knowledge of RESTful API design principles is essential.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using Python. Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Implement data storage solutions using PostgreSQL. Design and optimize scalable, secure, and robust back-end architecture. Utilize AWS services to deploy and manage applications in the cloud. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve current systems and processes.

Qualifications: Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience:

Proven experience as a Back-end Engineer or similar role. Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python. Familiarity with front-end technologies, particularly React. Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS). Proficient in PostgreSQL and database management. Experience in designing and building RESTful APIs. Methodologies:

Experience with Agile development methodologies. Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a team player.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of other back-end programming languages (e.g., Java, Node.js).
