Job Summary:
We are in search of an experienced and seasoned Senior Plumbing/HVAC Project Manager to lead our team in sunny San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a stable work history, with a remarkable 10+ years of expertise in commercial and healthcare project management within a medium or large plumbing and HVAC construction company. Familiarity with OSHPD/HCAP requirements is essential, as is proficiency in construction software, including Bluebeam. A Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred, and local candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the management of plumbing and HVAC projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with OSHPD/HCAP requirements.
Collaborate with project teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities, including procurement and subcontractor management.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality, making necessary adjustments as required.
Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints, ensuring adherence to local and state regulations.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, facilities, and stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service.
Maintain thorough documentation of project milestones, work performed, and financials.
Uphold safety standards and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 10 years of project management experience in plumbing and HVAC construction, with a focus on commercial and healthcare projects.
Comprehensive understanding of OSHPD/HCAP requirements and healthcare project nuances.
Proficiency in construction software, particularly Bluebeam, and other related tools.
A Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
A proven and stable work history in commercial and healthcare project management.
Strong organizational and time management skills, along with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
