Position Summary

Sony Corporation of America (SCA)is seeking a Director, Sales SMB & Mid-Market to support the launch of a new business incubated within SCA. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-performing sales teams and developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and surpass revenue goals.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and execute a sales strategy and structure for Mid-Market and SMB sales teams Build, train, and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve and surpass revenue targets Work cross-functionally with other teams to ensure that sales goals align with overall company objectives Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand our customer base in Mid-Market and SMB segments Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders Work closely with marketing and product teams to develop and execute sales and marketing campaigns that drive revenue growth Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies and tactics Develop and implement sales processes and systems that enable efficient and effective sales operations

Qualifications For Position

Your qualifications and experience should include:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred 10+ years of sales leadership and sales management experience with a strong understanding of Mid-Market and SMB sales channels Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and driving revenue growth in Mid-Market and SMB segments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships Prior startup experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated progression in prior roles Strong work ethic and team player mentality

The target base salary range for this position is $210,000 to $220,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
