OverviewThe Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr) will provide a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers, primarily face-to-face, supporting their branch and rental needs. The CAR Sr will gain knowledge through local training and hands-on experience to provide administrative support, service customers, and act as a rental back-up in a large home city branch or airport location. The starting pay for this position is $17.55 / hour. This is a part time role and is located at the following location:2100 TERMINAL DRFLORENCE, SC 29506Must be willing to work the following part time schedule of 25 hours:Monday: Flexible 8:00AM-3:00PMTuesday: Flexible 8:00AM-3:00PMWednesday: Flexible 8:00AM-3:00PMThursday: Flexible 8:00AM-3:00PMFriday: Flexible 8:00AM-3:00PMSaturday:12:00pm-4:00pmSunday: 12:00pm-4:00pm ResponsibilitiesTakeincoming calls- reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops and other vendorsManage outgoing calls forcallback management, A/Rs and miscellaneous calls as assignedProvide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and over the phoneMeet and greet customers in a friendly and timely mannerProvide directions and general assistanceAssist to assess condition of rental upon returnProcess returns, check-ins and exit kiosk transactionsEffectively market the company while picking up customers up and/or dropping off customer in a safe and courteous manner and assisting customers as neededUnderstand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other servicesMay sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipmentResponsible for notifying Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenanceClean vehicle interior and exterior by hand or by operating washing equipment when neededPerform various administrative and basic accounting functions such as: research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, transfer and key logs, run miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, process customer billingPerform miscellaneous and backup duties job-related duties as assignedEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransQualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldHigh School Diploma or G.E.D. requiredMust be willing to accept $17.55/ hourMust have a minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative supportMust have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents on diving record in the past 3 years.Must not have any drug or alcohol related conviction on MVR in the past 5 yearsMust be willing to work the posted schedule
