About the Opportunity: As the Trade Specialist I, you will work weekends to maintain the interior appearance of institutional buildings and the surrounding exterior appearance of the grounds. This work involves adhering to established standard procedures, techniques, and safety requirements with some judgment required to interpret instructions.

PAY GRADE: 13
Work Schedule: Friday & Monday 7:30am to 5:15pm; Saturday & Sunday 7:30am to 6:30pm
What you'll do:
Follow preventative maintenance plans for all mechanical/electrical systems, including routine lubrications, calibrations, and adjustments.
Perform general maintenance duties related to mechanical equipment systems.
Respond to building maintenance requests and diagnose various equipment as needed.
Responsible for plumbing-related repairs and maintenance.
Operate as a first responder to odors, leaks, electrical failures, and plumbing-related failures.
Perform general painting duties, including preparing surfaces for painting.
Clean and maintain the interior appearance of all buildings including classrooms, offices, laboratories, and public areas.
