The Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our corporate team in Raleigh, NC to assist in the performance of month-end and year-end general ledger close, account analysis, account reconciliations, and project analysis. This position is ideal for an ambitious and experienced professional who seeks to be a part of a rapidly growing company. This position will also provide the opportunity for independent initiative and judgement to improve and develop accounting processes and procedures in a fast-paced corporate environment. Hybrid working arrangements are offered for this opportunity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs following established accounting practices Follow established accounting processes Perform monthly bank settlements Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions Prepare documentation as needed for external auditors Build ad hoc financial and statistical reports as needed for management review Provide support to other corporate functions as needed Minimum Qualifications: Education/Licensing/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience in accounting or related field General ledger month-end and year-end close experience Physician Services or Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Strong problem solving and analytical skills Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills, able to multi-task Strong customer service skills, collaborative and flexible Execution-focused, with the ability to take individual responsibility for delivering quality work in a timely manner Proficient in Word and Excel Experience with various ERP’s (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics SL, Great Plains, Intacct, etc.) a plus US Radiology provides a competitive compensation program to attract, retain, and motivate a high-performance workforce.
