The Mortgage Loan Advisor Assistant (MLAA) is to provide administrative and clerical support to the mortgage origination team.

What you will do...
  • Answers all calls for the Mortgage department and assess the members need and assign to the proper person or department.
  • Monitor lobby tracker and escort members from the waiting area to the designated person or office.
  • Answer member questions as they relate to the member's active loan application, needs list, rate inquiries, appraisal status, and other topics
  • Input memo notes in the LOS per the members interaction.
  • Assist members with signing disclosures electronically
  • Perform final verification of all mortgage loan documents
  • Assist members by phone and online
  • Document imaging mortgage loans this includes but is not limited to renaming documents with proper naming conventions, scanning all loan documents with due diligence, verifying discrepancies, and upload of loan documents into the database in an organized and timely manner.
  • Assist a team of Mortgage Loan Advisor's
  • Review mortgage application and documentation
  • Order supporting documentation
  • Assist with follow up and tracking on outstanding documents
  • Assist Mortgage Loan Advisors with preparing loan packages for processing
  • Assist with providing member updates on file status
  • Assist Mortgage Loan Advisor's with preparation and distribution of Thank You cards and/or other forms of marketing materials
What you need...
  • Industry experience (e.g. banking, insurance, or real estate)
  • At least 1+ years' experience using a LOS system, Empower preferred
  • At least 1+ years' experience using a CRM system
  • Detail oriented and technologically savvy
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Software proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat a must
  • Excellent communication skiils
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High school diploma
  • NMLS license or ability to obtain
