Prepares journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Assist with the preparation of the yearly budget. Prepares documentation in support of external and internal audits. Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigates issues, providing explanations and interpretation. Assist with managing the integrity of inventory. Manage and prepare accurate sales and use tax reports. Manage and prepare weekly cash forecast and bank reconciliations. Owns the vendor and customer rebate programs. Manages commission payments. Oversees the performance of accounting team members. Responsible for ensuring daily scanning is completed in a timely manner. Provide support for the accounting team. Qualifications: Strong understanding of GAAP. +7 years’ experience in accounting management. Strong knowledge of business and operations. Extensive knowledge of inventory value and inventory reconciliations. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
