DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for engaging in excellent customer service, operating a computerized cash register to complete sales, unloading shipments, stocking shelves, assembling displays, and cleaning the store. Special care must be exercised to avoid selling merchandise to persons who are prohibited by law from purchasing alcoholic beverages. Work also includes receiving wholesale customer orders, assembling and packing cases per customer order, and loading customer orders into vehicles.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours vary between 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday.
  • Work hours will vary. Scheduled hours will be equal to 75 hours/biweekly.
  • Salary:The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Legal Requirements:

  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
