Executive Assistant

A prestigious strategic consulting firm in Washington, DC is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support their Chairman. This critical role requires an extraordinarily competent professional with extensive high-level executive support experience, preferably with exposure to legal, political, or corporate leadership environments.
Essential Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary interface and gatekeeper for the Chairman, managing all communications and scheduling with precision and discretion while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality
- Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements for high-stakes business and strategic meetings, ensuring flawless execution of logistics
- Manage comprehensive calendar logistics, including meeting preparation, coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and proactive scheduling management across multiple time zones
- Handle sensitive correspondence and prepare detailed briefing materials, reports, and presentations for executive-level meetings with keen attention to detail and professionalism
- Provide advanced administrative support that extends to chief of staff-type responsibilities, including special projects and strategic initiatives as directed by the Chairman
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 10-15 years of progressive executive administrative experience supporting C-suite executives
- Proven expertise in managing high-stakes, complex executive schedules in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated success in supporting leadership in corporate, legal, or political environments
- Background in legal firms or political organizations strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of government consulting or policy environments
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and executive support technologies
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels
- Uncompromising commitment to discretion and confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure
- Strategic thinking and exceptional proactive problem-solving capabilities
- Superior organizational and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Adaptable and flexible approach to dynamic work environments
- Polished and articulate presence in high-level professional interactions
- Competitive package ranging between $150,000 to $200,000
- This position offers an excellent compensation package and the opportunity to work with senior leadership in a dynamic consulting environment.
