ABOUT THE POSITION

This is a unique opportunity for independent thinkers with journalism experience, who are seeking a career change. As an associate investment analyst in the non-traditional team, you will use your reporting, source-building, and analytical skills to research large cap, publicly-traded companies worldwide, often by conducting interviews with former employees, competitors, suppliers, regulators, and offering your perspective on the potential long-term risks and opportunities within these companies. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Non-traditional analysts at GQG are key to our research mosaic as they bring in a differentiated view when looking at companies. They focus on understanding a company’s culture and management and look for risks that are underappreciated by those analyzing the business through traditional financial lenses. The role focuses on the qualitative aspects of the company. At GQG, we operate like a flat organization where “best ideas” from any of our employees are heard and win out. QUALIFICATIONS
