Responsibilities

A nationally recognized homebuilder, known for its leadership and innovation in the industry, is seeking a Land Analyst to join our Corporate Land Department.



In this role, you will provide essential technical and analytical support for the company's land reporting, underwriting, and administrative functions. You will also be responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of land and lot data pertinent to land project reporting.



We are in search of a detail-oriented, analytical thinker who is a self-starter eager to make a significant contribution.



Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reporting, accounting, and analytical tasks to support the company's strategic objectives for land acquisition.
  • Serve as a liaison among Corporate Land, Accounting, Operations, Marketing, and IT departments.
  • Perform financial analysis on current land projects and underwrite new initiatives.
  • Deliver accurate and timely market analysis, financial modeling, and reporting to guide land acquisition investment decisions.
  • Provide technical training, support, and administration for land-related JDE functions and other land applications.
  • Oversee internal reporting processes and prepare reports that assist in managing the company's land and lot investments.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience in homebuilding is preferred.
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Real Estate.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of real estate market dynamics and land development processes.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills.
