If you're creative and autonomous, we want to hear from you We are looking for a Product Quality Engineer to join our team leading all aspects of failure analysis for NVIDIA’s board product segment throughout the life of the product. You will greatly influence quality across the company through interactions with internal and external engineering groups. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills with a strong structured problem-solving background and proven experience in failure root cause resolution. Your hands-on failure analytical skills and strong quality mindset are essential as you will be working to drive board products quality improvement initiatives and programs. What you’ll be doing: Detailed failure analysis, identifying root-cause of customer reported issues – Perform PCB-level debugging to isolate faults for physical FA.

Define appropriate characterization techniques to root cause complex problems.

Apply knowledge of system design, electrical engineering and PCBA manufacturing to propose containment and corrective action for design/production/supplier.

Continuously apply sophisticated analysis tools and methodology.

Share lessons-learn from previous field quality issues; give early input via DFMEA to ensure known quality, reliability, manufacturing issues are identified, and risks are mitigated.

Assist in generating 8D failure analysis reports and verify/characterize corrective actions’ effectiveness.

Quality representative to internal teams, supporting activities for customer quality and internal quality requirements.

What we need to see: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience)

3+ years of hands-on experience in PCB level hardware verification/debug and signal integrity measurement.

Proficient in power electronics, PCB level troubleshooting and debugging; knowledge in and experience with server systems.

Knowledge of Linux system and Linux Shell Scripts.

Good communication and documentation skills.
