Take the next step in your career with FCS Financial, part of the nationwide Farm Credit System, and act on this opportunity to join our top quality agricultural lending institution FCS is seeking a customer focused, friendly, accurate, and detail-oriented individual to join our Team If you have experience in customer service and excellent communication skills, this opportunity is for you The Operations Support Specialist position provides customer service and operational support to internal and external Association customers.The starting salary for this position is $40,500, however salary may be commensurate with experience.This position is located in Jefferson City.A Hybrid - Remote Office Work Environment and flexible work schedule will be considered after the initial training period is complete and based off of the candidates’ qualifications and needs.This position is open until filled.This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.Department:Marketplace ServicesReports to:Team Leader, Operations SupportSupervises:NoneResponsibilities/DutiesJob Functions*PercentageJob Functions40%Operations Support and ProcessingProvides internal operational support to various Association functions by:Setting Up and Processing Branch PCA loan requests utilizing CRM and Scorecard Underwriting.Collaborates with Branches on Early Delinquency customer contactsCalculates Lease payments, prepares lease documentation and provides liaison between Association lease resources and Farm Credit LeasingAdministers the Associations Centralized UCC process including new filings, amendments, UCC searches and Monthly Reporting.Administers Branch PCA Paid in Full Process including release of liens and returning paid notes40%Customer ServiceUtilize various Customer contact channels to provide external customer service in support of various Association functions by:Identifying and resolving customer requests for information and action resulting from Website inquiriesIdentifying and resolving customer requests for support of the Association On line Banking system (Customer Portal)Providing account service to Express Branch customers by responding to requests for service and payment processing.Providing customer onboarding for new AgDirect accounts by making initial contacts, providing Association information and identifying potential opportunities.Generally informing customers by explaining procedures, answering questions, providing information and recommending potential products and services.10%Account MaintenanceApplies standard processes, policies and procedures to determine actions on various account maintenance activities, which may include:Posts receipts and disbursements dailyMonitors daily, monthly and year end reports to identify and resolve discrepanciesMonitors Association insurance documentation to ensure procedural requirements are met5%General Office DutiesAuthorizes invoices for office expensesHandles internal and external mail5%Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.* Essential Functions for this position consist of all items listed under any category that make up 5% or more of the job duties. This job description is subject to change without notice.Required SkillsMinimum QualificationsHigh School diploma2 years of related experienceOr an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the jobRequired Knowledge and SkillsWorking knowledge of the operation of a multi-line phone systemGeneral knowledge of credit processing proceduresGeneral knowledge of accounting practices and proceduresOral and written communication skills, sufficient to exchange information effectively with peers, supervisor and customersSkill in listening and conveying awareness of a customer's problem or issue to find resolutionSkill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different natureSkill in organizing material and information in a systematic way to optimize efficiencySkill in recognizing and maintaining confidential informationSkill in utilizing Word, Excel and Outlook to increase efficiency and/or effectiveness.Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association’s systems and data and clients’ data
