Job DescriptionThe Operations Specialist is responsible for operational efficiencies, quality assurance, audits, business continuity and disaster recovery plans, vendors and platforms that support consumer credit card, debit card and prepaid card products and programs. This role will support the operational units within Bankcard to ensure processes and procedures are properly aligned with system functionality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Develop, implement, enhance, or remove policies, procedures and systems to improve the effectiveness of BankCard Services Consumer products division. Serve as a direct contact/subject matter expert with processes, procedures, systems, regulatory/card association rules and bank/industry products/services. Aptitude with problem solving skills for various situations in a complex/fast-paced work environment. Maintain security access processes such as: needs, changes, suspensions and user access reviews. Participate in the development of BankCard projects and programs as needed. RequirementsFive to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.An experienced leader with appropriate industry experience.An energetic, forward-thinking, creative individual with an overwhelming desire to offer superior customer service experiences.A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, dependable judgment with strong operational focus. A well organized, self-directed team player.An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills. A good educator who is trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor.
