**Job Description Summary**
Ensures all inventory transactions are completed efficiently and accurately for all 3rd Party warehouse locations. Work with internal and external groups to determine inventory movement. Areas of responsibility may include monthly close procedures, reporting, General Accounting, Internal/External Audit, and ad hoc projects.**Job Description**
* Understands all aspects of Inventory Accounting not limited to- EDI, Reconciliations, DM/CM process, Shipment Verifications, Cycle Counts, Warehouse Invoices/Contracts, and Transaction entry.
* Perform monthly reporting activities
* Plays a key role in the month-end close process to include journal entries and account reconciliations.
* Train department members and be able to provide back up support.
* Provide ad hoc inventory analysis as requested.
* Travel to plant/warehouse locations to conduct inventory audits.
* Other duties as assigned
**Job Qualifications**

* 5+ years of inventory Accounting and/or Warehouse experience
* A.A. in Finance, Accounting and/or other Business Field or equivalent related experience
* Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge of general business concepts.
* Ability to analyze and assimilate information into actionable data and recommendations.
* General understanding of generally accepted accounting principles.
* Ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access)
* Knowledge of SAP and ASI software tools preferred
* Ability to draw on outside resources and work on cross-functional teams
* Appropriately prioritize workload and demonstrate flexibility.
* Valid Drivers License and driving record that meets Lamb Westons driving standards
