The Process Engineer is responsible for enhancing process engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality, and delivery improvements to support a manufacturing organization. Key responsibilities include implementing and evaluating proposed designs and processes for manufacturability, preparing justifications, purchasing and implementing capital equipment for production, overseeing new process equipment production, establishing robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters, troubleshooting process-related issues, and implementing Statistical Process Analysis on new and existing products. The role also involves implementing safety, productivity, and yield improvements, improving manufacturing techniques and throughput, providing continuous development of manufacturing techniques to improve in-house capabilities, developing and maintaining process documentation, reviewing processing methods, and providing equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
