Job Duties:

  • Implement and sustain a Continuous Improvement process in Electrogrip manufacturing.
  • Research and test design ideas, utilizing lean manufacturing, kaizen, Six Sigma, and root-cause analysis to determine feasibility and support innovation, corrective actions, and improvements.
  • Develop a dynamic, forward-looking plan that addresses future needs in capacity, quality, and manufacturing development.
  • The ME will configure and deliver product manufacturing specifications, manufacturing methods, production workflows, and operational procedures within our system (Infor M3) to guide and support the manufacturing team in producing the final product.
  • Proficient in using Infor M3, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other design and reporting software to create accurate documentation, manage master data, develop manufacturing structures, and design production methods.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive documentation system for our manufacturing processes, including flow charts, capacity and utilization studies, time and motion studies, standard work instructions, process sheets, cycle time analysis, and line balancing.


Qualifications:

  • Degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering required.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering preferred.
  • Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
  • Experience using CAD, CAM, ERP, data analysis programs, and related software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organization and management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High level of technical expertise.
  • Strong analytical thinker.
  • Collaboration skills in working with other engineering and production groups, as required in the performance of the responsibilities detailed herein.
