Your Opportunity
Our Transportation group is looking for an experienced Project Administrator to be located in our Columbia, SC office to provide support with the day-to-day administrative requirements for transportation projects. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of administrative support activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization focusing on project delivery.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepares correspondence, proposals, reports, schedules, minutes, spreadsheets, presentations, database lists, specifications, and contracts.
- Organizes, attends, and keeps minutes of meetings including the coordination and tracking of action items and deliverables.
- Creates and maintains project plans, schedules, and deliverables.
- Processes expense reports, invoices, orders, timecards etc.
- Manages calendars and schedules meetings.
- Coordinates travel itineraries and arrangements.
- Assists with document control including filing and archiving.
- Performs other administrative duties as required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple concurrent assignments.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be willing and able to take initiative when needed.
- Ability to deal with difficult situations and/or people.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically excel.
- Experience with design/construction project or AEC projects.
- High School Diploma with minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
