Job Title: Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Description

Take the lead in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable invoices, prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions. Manage the accounts payable inbox alongside team members, and act as a key point of contact for internal and external accounts payable inquiries. Maintain courteous communication with vendors and internal departments, drive process efficiencies in line with SOX compliance, and verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements. Additionally, file, maintain, and distribute accounting documents, resolve invoice processing issues, and support the accounting department with other assigned duties.

Hard Skills

+ Processing 500+ invoices monthly

+ Strong computer skills with intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel

+ Experience with batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions

+ Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements

+ Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

+ Proven organizational and time management skills

+ Detail-oriented with a strong customer service focus

+ Proactive in anticipating and resolving issues

+ Flexible scheduling with the ability to work overtime as needed

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Everett, Washington and some days remote.

Work Environment

The work environment usually has a moderate noise level. The role primarily involves sitting and using computers, with occasional requirements to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
