This individual will be instrumental regarding planning parameters and internal distribution network set-up through cross functional collaboration. The Supply Chain Analyst will be a "key" business partner in managing SKU Optimization, the forecasting process and supporting SIOP. This position will also help launch and support improvement opportunities throughout the order execution process.Essential Job FunctionsRepresent the Supply Chain Team and be the primary resource for SKU Optimization Initiative. Identify and update all purchase parts related to SKU Optimization decisions. Analyze planning parameters and collaborate with cross functional teams to determine optimal settings. Manage the transition of parts to prevent/minimize obsolescence. Review the cost points between brands from Suppliers and ensure costs are controlled and updated in Epicor ERP system. Manage and input forecast into Epicor ERP system to drive improved replenishment signals. Maintain "Key" Supply Chain metrics and support process improvements to ensure we achieve our goals. Partner with Inside Sales, Purchasing, Planning, and Operations to support improvements to the order execution process to exceed our customers' expectations. Drive standardization across North American Operations within the areas of Supply Chain. Abides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.RequirementsKnowledgeBachelor's degree of Supply Chain Management or related required.ExperienceAbility to analyze large amounts of data and turn it into actionable information.Experience leveraging Microsoft Office applications.Experience with business enterprise systems.Ability to develop executive summaries and communicate results effectively.Some exposure to forecasting procedures.SkillsExcellent analytical and project management skills.Advanced Excel and Forecast modeling skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Efficient organization and clear and concise presentation skills.Decision making abilities commensurate with job responsibilities.High attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.Note*Every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of this position.
