Working independendently but supported by others, the incumbent is the technical representative to our customers for all product maintenance, installation, and repair issues.Position Description - Tasks, Responisibilities, Competencies Independently travels nationally and internationally as Maag's primary technical representative to the customer and have the ability to perform the Service Tech/Engineer responsibilities bilingually (in Spanish and English) Performs on-site and offsite PLC trouble shooting as well as programming if needed Interacts with customers on a daily basis to provide solutions to issues Conducts yearly follow-up calls to all Maag customers to check up on the customer and Maag machinery Provide on-site support for equipment installation; mechanically and electrically as well as startup support based on the polymer application at the customer request. Provide on-site troubleshooting, maintenance and repair activities. Visit responsibilities include logistical planning, coordination with interagency contacts and the customer, execution of the trip and reporting activities and expenses Provides training to customer in-house at Maag's facilities and at the customer location Represents the company and collects customer feedback to facilitate continuous improvement opportunities Conducts technical discussions regarding machinery repairs, upgrades, and selection to assist customer with a solution to their needs or problems Collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, parts and equipment sales to develop customer focused solutionsThe incumbent considers all interests of quality, accident prevention and occupational safety as well as environmental safety in a preventative manner within his scope of responsibility and supports the avoidance of damages to people, facilities, assets, material and enviroment actively.The incumbent is obligated to perform tasks requested by management that relate to his position scope or arise from company needs.
