About this Role:

The Senior Estimator will work with Project and Regional management/operations to assist in the development of technical scope of work and independently develop cost estimates and resource requirements for overhead distribution, transmission, and substation electrical utility construction projects.

What You'll Do:
  • Assist with the request for proposal (RFP) preparation and evaluations, project specifications, and pricing schedules
  • Assist with the preparation of pre-approval project estimates based on limited information and general scopes of work, often lacking specific precedence
  • Assist project team in scoping of projects for engineering, construction, and contractual requirements
  • Assist with the development of detailed post-approval project estimates based on company standards and site-specific facility drawings
  • Perform material take-offs and cost analyses to support estimates
  • Assist with the development of pricing schedules and weighting criteria for proposal evaluations
  • Provide expert judgment of costs to support competitive bid and negotiated contracts
  • Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division or project management
What You'll Bring:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)

Compensation Range:
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $100,000.00/Yr. - USD $130,000.00/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
