Description

Under the direction of the Supervisor or Manager, this position is responsible for providing support to the Care Management team who coordinates care for identified members/patients throughout the healthcare continuum. This position works closely as a healthcare team member and performs clerical tasks related to the overall team functions and activities identified during the initial and ongoing assessment and management of members/patients.

Required qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: Medical Terminology coursework or Working knowledge of Medical Terminology.
  • 1 year Healthcare.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in a related field.
  • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) upon hire.
  • Managed care or case management.
  • Experience with Mcg Care Guidelines, Touchwork, IDX, Meditech.

About the Team

Providence Clinical Network (PCN) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care. Collectively, our medical groups and affiliate practices are the third largest group in the country with over 11,000 providers, 900 clinics and 30,000 caregivers.
