Key Responsibilities Shape and implement comprehensive financial strategies that align with corporate goals and growth aspirations. Oversee accurate and transparent financial reporting, providing insightful analyses to support key strategic decisions. Lead the budgeting process and ongoing forecasting efforts to maximize resource allocation and operational efficiency. Assess investment opportunities and conduct financial analysis to guide capital allocation decisions. Identify and manage financial risks, ensuring strong internal controls and adherence to regulatory requirements. Inspire and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and high performance. Collaborate with senior executives and department heads to align financial goals with operational objectives. Act as a key contact for investors, analysts, auditors, and other external stakeholders on financial matters. Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of finance and accounting functions. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance principles. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred. At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry, focusing on late-stage clinical development. Proven success in a publicly traded environment, including experience with SEC reporting and investor relations. Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis. Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of developing high-performing teams. Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to drive business results through effective financial management. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at interacting with senior executives, board members, and external stakeholders.
