This is how you will grow:

Acts as the intermediary between the installation contractor, OEMs, and the project management team to facilitate and support installation activities through efficient logistics coordination.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between the installation contractor, OEMs, and the project management team for all logistics-related matters pertaining to installation activities.
  • Coordinate closely with the installation contractor and OEMs to plan, organize, and execute logistics activities in support of installation activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure timely delivery of equipment, materials, and supplies required for installation activities, coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers as necessary.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage storage facilities to ensure adequate availability of materials and equipment for installation activities while minimizing excess inventory and storage costs.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among all stakeholders involved in installation activities to address logistics challenges, resolve issues, and optimize logistics processes.
  • Track and document logistics activities, including receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment, and provide regular updates to project management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in logistics operations, implementing measures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements related to logistics activities, maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, construction or related field preferred
  • 3 plus years of experience in a similar logistics coordinator role at a construction site
  • Proven track record of success in timely delivery of equipment, materials and supplies
  • High level of communication and collaboration skills and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance to regulations
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experienced in construction of large manufacturing facilities preferred
