Full Time Lead Social WorkerClick Here to Apply OnlineJob DescriptionLocation: Good Samaritan Medical CenterPosted Date: 11/29/2023POSITION SUMMARYTrains new staff and collaborates with Department Director on annual performance appraisals and corrective counseling. In collaboration with the Case Manager, assists patients and families in adjusting to episodes of acute and chronic illness; in coping with lifestyle changes precipitated by illness or disability; in participating in restorative health programs; in carrying out discharge recommendations; and in addressing issues of terminality. Using a variety of treatment modalities, assists patients and families in the alleviation or resolution of social, financial, and emotional problems related to illness, healthcare, and rehabilitation.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMasters in social work and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) required.Five (5) years' experience required, in a healthcare setting.
