General Dynamics Electric Boat, the nation's premier designer and builder of nuclear submarines, is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter Program Representative - Business Office Support to join our Department 475 Business Office.

The D475 Business Office serves as the primary resource in managing and maintaining the departments financial, business and office needs.

Business Office functions include:

  • Creating, monitoring and maintaining business systems for the department including fishnets, manpower plan, labor reports, overhead budget, etc.
  • Developing and maintaining the departments direct material budget which ranges from $2.5M to $7.5M annually which requires strong Excel skills including but not limited to lookups, pivot tables, etc.
  • Managing procurement of IT materials and services from requirements definition through delivery and deployment
  • Maintaining Key Performance Indicators to measure and assess department performance
  • Develop and maintain department asset management system and processes as a Jira Super user
  • Develop and maintain system for tracking department documentation as a Confluence Super user
  • Develop and maintain department Sharepoint and website design on classified and unclassified systems
  • Track and reconcile invoicing for IS #190 Canon products
  • Creating and maintaining department digital forms
  • Oversee onboarding process for new employees

Initial job functions of this position include:

  • Procurement of IT materials and services via Oracle and company Purchasing Card from initial submittal to receipt
  • Maintaining expenditure tracking and future projections
  • Tracking and reporting on software licensing and maintenance using Snow Technology asset management tools

Candidate must be a self-starter, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment. The ability to manage multiple competing priorities is important. The position provides challenging work and a means to continue gaining business skills and broadening experience.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a final DoD Secret clearance
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Word and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business
  • Experience using Jira / Jira Software Management (JSM)
  • Experience using Confluence
  • Experience utilizing Adobe Dreamweaver
