Asset Management Specialist 1

The Asset Management Specialist 1 will;

  • Receive IT equipment requests; prepare equipment for pickup and/or shipping; track delivery/pickup status; document completion/receipt
  • Organize, monitor, and track IT equipment warehouse activities to ensure the addition/removal of IT equipment is documented using customer ITSM software and Spreadsheets for IMAC.
  • Process tickets, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
  • Assemble/Disassemble IT equipment to remove/replace key components (memory, hard-drive, etc.)., and image systems, when requested.
  • Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping. Prepare orders for shipping to DC and/or State Offices.
  • Responds to the customer's questions ensuring high level customer satisfaction by clarifying customer needs and ensuring they are met.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate level - 2+ years of relevant experience in IT asset inventory in a professional environment.
  • Experience with IMAC (Installation, Move, Add and Changes).
  • Ability to use and operate tools including a pallet jack, hand cart, dolly, common hand tools (i.e screwdriver, wrench, wire cutters, etc.).
  • Ability to lift and move objects 10-50 lbs.
  • Windows certification at a minimum.
  • Ability to follow instructions, policies, and guidelines.
