Activity Director

available to work:

Full-time

Tuesday through Saturday

8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation

Starting wage $18.00 - $23.00/hr. depending on experience

Activity Director

Planning and executing educational programs, exercise classes, social events, spiritual programs, outings, special events, and individualized activities for residents in a Health and Rehab environment.

Activity Director Qualifications

Degree or experience in related field

Passion for working with a geriatric population

An ability to successfully organize, plan and execute activities for small and large groups

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel in order to successfully produce daily, weekly and monthly activity flyers, reminders, calendars and newsletters

Desire and willingness to work as a team and assist other departments as needed

A desire to have fun, be creative and add your own unique touch and meaningful detail to all activities

Flexibility with schedule for those special evening and weekend events

Ability to effectively communicate with residents, families, volunteers, vendors, and visitors in person, phone and/or email
