Job Description

Revenue Recognition: Ensuring proper recognition of revenue according to accounting standards (ASC 606) Financial Reporting: Preparing and reviewing financial statements related to revenue, including disclosures. Analysis and Reconciliation: Analyzing revenue trends, performing reconciliations, and investigating variances. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and relevant regulations. Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements related to revenue accounting. Audits: Assisting with internal and external audits related to revenue recognition. Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as sales, legal, and operations to ensure accurate revenue reporting. Documentation: Maintaining documentation of accounting procedures and policies related to revenue.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting required. MBA a plus. Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant work experience
