Primary Talent Partners has a contract opening for an Engineering Technician II with a large medical device manufacturing company located in Billerica, MA.

Pay:
$35.97/hr

Shift: 4th shift position with the following schedule: Saturday-Sunday 6am to 6pm & 10am to 6pm of 2 adjacent week days (that is any two days connecting to the weekend: Thu/Fri/Mon/Tue to make 4 days)

Contract: W-2, 6 months to start, extensions highly likely, conversion highly possible.
Responsibilities:
  • Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written and/or verbal instructions.
  • Perform equipment maintenance / repair.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
  • Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
  • Potential to modify, desig, and improve upon fixtures within CAD.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma is required, college degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Equipment maintenance / repair experience.
  • Preventative maintenance experience.
  • Experience improving upon / maintaining equipment uptime.
  • Cleanroom / gowning experience.
  • Experience reading engineering schematics.
  • Experience with calipers.
  • Experience in a highly regulated industry.
  • CAD experience is a plus.
  • Catheter experience is a HUGE plus.
